Gemini Massage and Spa near UCF (former Liu Massage) Reviews

I had a one hour deep tissue massage. During this time she took an estimated 7-10 minutes “warming up” the hot stones, only to use them and they be slightly above room temperature at best. Additionally, while at some points she did actually perform the deep tissue massage, she would shortly lighten up after, it was to the pressure level of a Swedish at best and maintain that for duration of the massage. The massage therapist took shortcuts the entire time, which is a shame because I had high expectations for this person, yet was left disappointed. The fact that it was $75.00, $78.00 with card is completely unreasonable for the quality of massage that was provided. Finally, the final straw was because she did such a mediocre job, I left her a $0.00 tip. She berated me saying “you are not a nice guy”, “I survive off tips”, and scoffed at me because she didn’t get a tip for how poor of a job she did, as If $78.00 wasn’t enough. I have had 100’s of massages all over the world on a monthly biases. Yet, this by far was the top 10 worst customer service experience and massages I have ever had. I do not recommend anyone to this massage parlor.

This place is what I imagine getting a massage would be like at an outdoor hospital in NYC. Sterile and loud with constant noise and ring alarm notifications from Barber Shop next door. No music or white noise… and worker stopped message a half dozen times to take phone calls. Phone didn’t stop ringing for the 90 minutes I was there. Couldn’t have been less relaxing. I booked a Thai massage but got a standard deep tissue because worker speaks English about as well as I speak Chinese and no idea what I was asking for. And to add insult to injury she doesn’t seem to know how to work her technology. I returned to my car to find out square labeled me a no show for the appointment I booked online. She was nice enough and the massage I did get was a 6/10. But I wouldn’t go back and suggest you go somewhere else.

My husband and I came here for a couple massage. I believe the price point is very well priced. The massage therapists asked us what areas we wanted to focus on and type of pressure. We've been to a few places and this is probably top or second best massage we've ever had. My husband said the therapist that worked in him was able to find knots and work on them rather than just moving on to other areas like most places would do. I only saw one. Negative review: about the music next door in the barbershop. Yes, we could kind of hear it but it didn't take away from our experience. Would highly recommend and we will return.

I had a massage here. The masseuse didn't speak English well enough to understand parts of the body for focus or intensity (legs, harder, etc.). The atmosphere was horrible for a massage. It is next door to a barber shop where they were playing loud music, talking and yelling, and so the relaxing music that the store played could not come close to masking the near party next door. Other Gemini locations have been great, such as when I got a couples thai massage at the winter springs location (that was great). Stay away from this location.

Absolutely amazing. I have chronic pain in my entire back so massage has been out of the question for me until now. This wonderful lady,Ada, is a miracle worker. I mean it! She is able to massage my pain away. I have had other massages around here and there, you know those franchises… I always left in more pain than when I arrived. Not with Liu Massage. I find that I am usually pain free, for the most part, until my next appointment. Highly recommend for anyone whether you have pain or just love a nice relaxing massage. Great atmosphere too. Love this place.
